Inter College Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on the theme AIDS, Drug Abuse and Blood D

Red Ribbon Club of BCM College of Education organized Inter College Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on the theme AIDS, Drug Abuse and Blood Donation on February 3, 2026 to sensitize the young minds towards significant social and health issues and encourage them to express their creativity and social responsibility through impactful words and visuals. The day began with Lamp lighting and Floral Welcome of the guests. Principal Dr. Monika Dua formally welcomed the honourable Chief Guest of Day Mr. Devinder Singh Lotey, Assistant Director, Youth Services and the esteemed panel of Judges-Dr. Babita, Principal, Adarsh Memorial College for Women, Abohar and Ms. Chetna, Asst. Prof. SDP College, Ludhiana. Dr. Prem Kumar, Secretary College Managing Committee also graced the occasion. Participants from reputed colleges of the city participated enthusiastically in this competition and expressed themselves articulately. In Poster Making Competition, Ms. Manpreet from Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana was declared first, Ms. Asha Kumari from Malwa Central College of Education for Women, Ludhiana was adjudged second while Ms. Gayatri Gupta from Master Tara Singh Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana was awarded the third prize. In Slogan Writing Competition, Ms. Sakshi Negi from Guru Nanak Girls College, Ludhiana was declared first, Ms. Sukhmanpreet Kaur from Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College was adjudged second while Ms. Ishween Kaur from Khalsa College for Women Ludhiana was awarded the third prize. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Lotey applauded the efforts of BCM College in raising awareness about deadly diseases viz AIDS. He hailed the youth as the true treasure of society and motivated them to remain anchored to their cultural roots and firmly withstand the threat of drugs. He asked the students to remember 3Ds-Discipline, Duty and Determination to be successful in life. BCMites very zealously showcased Nukkad Naatak, sang motivational songs & recited poems to make the event memorable. Principal, Dr. Monika Dua appreciated the efforts of Red Ribbon Club Incharges Dr. Suprerna Khanna and Ms. Kanwalpreet Kaur.
